Delete your Gămung account
You can delete your account and its data at any time.
In the app (fastest)
- Open Gămung and go to Settings > Account & Security > Delete account.
- Your account is deleted right away.
- If you own a community with other members, hand it to someone else first — the app shows you how.
Without the app
- Email [email protected] from the email address you signed up with, with the subject "Delete my Gămung account".
- We'll confirm it's you and delete the account, usually within a few days, and let you know when it's done.
What gets deleted
- Your profile, posts, comments, listings, jobs, job applications, messages and uploaded photos and files are deleted right away.
- Communities you own alone are deleted too.
What we may keep
- To keep the community safe and meet legal duties, we may keep: copies of content our team removed for breaking the rules (with the reason); reports and the team's moderation records; and copies of your support messages and our replies. Gămung Verified emails and payment screenshots are kept in our email for up to 12 months after the payment, then deleted. Records of Gămung Verified payments (plan, amount, date and KBZPay transaction ID) are kept for our accounts, without your name. We keep these only as long as they're needed for safety or legal reasons.
